I’m over the moon to be co-hosting the first Friday’s Furniture Fix, right here on Slightly Coastal. I love to take furniture that has potential and make it into something special through painting, refinishing, or slip-covering. For many years, Marion Parsons (Miss Mustard Seed) hosted a Friday link party for furniture and it was always one of my favorites. I love a good before and after. Who doesn’t? When she decided to move forward without hosting her party anymore, a few of my fellow bloggers and I decided we would pick up the baton and carry the party forward. Let’s meet all the co-hosts shall we?

There are a few things you should know about this party. It’s for furniture. We love great before and afters so if you have taken a piece of furniture and reworked it in some fashion into something great, we want to see it! Please save all other types of posts for another party. Thanks!
The party opens every Thursday night at 9:00 EST and closes on Monday at 11:59 EST. To see all of the link ups, go to the end of this post. If you are here early for the party…you might want to come back on Monday to see what was added over the weekend.
Not only do we want to provide a place for you to show off your great work to the world, we want to create a community of people who are passionate about furniture fixes.
