French Country Fall Blog Tour Day 1

Okay, seriously…I’m so excited to be a part of this French Country Fall Blog Tour with some amazing bloggers.  I keep pinching myself because this tour is in collaboration with Soft Surroundings…an amazing clothing and home decor company.  Plus, Romantic Homes Magazine is sharing all the French Country goodness you can see in this fall tour.

For me, this is THE EVENT.  It kind of feels like when I walked into the cafeteria day after day in middle school, right after we moved there, and one day all the girls at the cool table waved me down and asked me to sit with them.

Me?  Ummmm…okay.

I then embarked on creating the most perfect of perfect fall tours in the history of mankind.  I’m sure you can imagine how that went at my house.  It sounded a lot like,

“Do you think this chair should be in this spot or over about eight inches?”

and

“Do you think these shutters should stay blue or go olive green with dry brushing?”

and

“Do you think 15 gajillion pumpkins in one room is too much?”

Mostly I was met with blank stares from the three guys in the family.  Dixie, the dog, wagged her tail enthusiastically at all of my questions and thoughts…so I went with her valuable input.  The girls have to stick together.
