Greetings! I am beyond thrilled to be a guest poster over at my sweet friend Janet’s blog Shabbyfufu. If you’ve never been on her blog you need to grab a cup of coffee, settle in, read my guest post and then spend some time browsing her blog filled with incredibly beautiful photos. It is truly a feast for the eyes.
I tried really hard to live up to Janet’s reputation of incredible photos, and I’m not going to lie, I think I snapped nearly 100 photos just to make sure I had some beauties in there. For those of you who don’t blog, having the opportunity to be a guest poster on a big blog is kinda a big deal.
Sort of like giving a big public speech hoping you do well. You know how public speaking can be….
You can visit my guest post HERE.
Pop on over to Shabbyfufu to read all about how I created this DIY Garden Topiary from a regular $10 plant I picked up at my local nursery. I would love your support. Leave a comment over at Shabbyfufu so Janet and her readers know we are a tight knit group over here at Slightly Coastal.
Thanks friends! You rock!

Thanks to you and some other great photographers like Janet I’m really getting the hang of this photography thing. If you would have told me a few years back I would be super excited over a picture of flowers I would have looked at you like you were sprouting broccoli from your ears, but I am really enjoying this journey. We have a photography club on our island that meets once a month to go photograph something special and I’m seriously thinking about joining it. #meandtheretiredpeople I do live in Florida. Haha.
Thanks friend!

I was laying in bed and I was thinking about you. From the few blogs that I read of yours, the projects are very large. Such as redoing all of your dining room chairs or transforming a dresser or buffet. Perhaps I’m still sore, both literally and physically, about how I stub my toe twice in one day on your dining room chair. However as I was laying in bed thinking about you and your blog, I thought to myself smaller projects probably be easier for your fans to reproduce . This one seems to fit the bill. Great job keep going.

Thanks so much Steve! Sorry you stubbed your toe twice on those pesky chairs. I’ll try to make them behave better next time you visit. 🙂
