Whew! Let me tell you…this ORC is no joke! I thought this would be an easy room to do because we weren’t doing anything structural. But…the painting! OMG. The painting! But I’m finally turning the corner.
I literally have painted everything in this room. The buffet, table, chairs, china cabinet, walls, and even the windows. Agh! But I do have to say I love how it is turning out and I can’t wait to share the final room with you.
I painted the chairs and had to add one more coat when I ran out of paint. I thought it wouldn’t be a problem because the paint store up the road sells it. Whelp. Not anymore. So I had to order it online because I didn’t want to run around. I don’t think I ever want to paint another chair again.
I almost left this sweet cabinet in the thrift store. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it but somehow the piece just tells me what it wants.
The last and final piece of “construction” is to hang a pair of these chandeliers. Hubby promises to finish that up for me on Monday so I have some time yet to photograph before sharing the final room with you next weekend.

Wow! Nancy! Love what you have done with your dining room furniture! Glad you have finished all your painting. This was such a big job and your arm must be really sore. Looking forward to seeing it all put together with those gorgeous chandeliers just adding that finishing touch. What a lovely room this is going to be once you are all finished!
