Blue and White Christmas Breakfast Nook

Welcome to the first official Christmas post of 2019 here at Adams and Elm Home. It’s a blue and White Christmas around here!

I love the bright pop of color it brings to the Christmas decor. I like having red in my Christmas and it was the one request of my oldest. This is his last year at home with us for the season. Next year he will be at college during all of this. So, in honor of him I wanted to create a really Christmas-y house.

I’ve also tried to use mostly items I already had or items I’ve picked up at the thrift store. Did I mention one kid in college is just around the corner?

I love using these plastic chargers on the table rather than placemats. They are so much easier to wash (no ironing) and they add a festive touch while protecting the top of my table.

The boys already love having this coffee bar/hot cocoa bar. My youngest makes himself one every day. It’s just too cute.

It’s pretty and I love finding ways to use my blue and white. I don’t keep it out all year long. I don’t want to tire of it. So, when I do pull it out for special decor scenarios I love it so much. I have found all my blue and white at thrift stores.
