This Valentine’s Day tablescape is a little bit of a farce. You see…we won’t be enjoying it on Valentine’s Day. With kids going to and fro and the mama taxi service in full swing even on Valentine’s Day…we’ll be lucky to enjoy a fast food car date together. But, I had my own little Valentine’s Day moment when I put together this little Valentine’s Day tablescape…even if we won’t enjoy it.
Most of the times on this Valentine’s Day tablescape came from the thrift store. I found some beautiful china recently and knew I wanted to use it on a sweet table. The jardiniere was a find a few years ago. I also found the beautiful stemware at the local Goodwill for the whopping price of $2.92 for four. Score!
In fact, even the table and chairs were second hand finds. The table was a Craigslist score and the chairs were picked up at the thrift years ago. I always feel like I’ve won the lottery when I find something great waiting for me.
For the past year or so I’ve been buying brass candlesticks whenever I see interesting ones. I like to have a variety of candlesticks to use on tablescapes.
So what do you have planned for Valentine’s Day? I hope you have a wonderful time with family and aren’t doing the car hustle like me. 🙂
See you guys back here in a few days when I’m going to share the animal that is living in our house. She’s visiting for Valentine’s Day too!

Beautiful. Never walk past a thrift store! Never know what you are going to find. Makes for a much more interesting way of shopping.🥰
